MECHANISMS FOR DEVELOPING YOUNG PEOPLE’S MORAL CONSCIOUSNESS IN THE INFORMATION SOCIETY

This article analyzes the mechanisms for developing young people’s moral
consciousness in the information society through an integrated socio-philosophical,
pedagogical, and axiological approach. The study examines the influence of digital communications, social networks, mass information flows, virtual identification, media
literacy, and the system of national and spiritual values on the formation of young people’s
moral views. Moral consciousness is interpreted not merely as a set of individual qualities
but also as an individual’s ability to select, evaluate, and interpret information and to act
on the basis of social responsibility. Factors such as family upbringing, educational
institutions, the mahalla, digital platforms, social control, value communication, and
reflective thinking are substantiated as interconnected mechanisms.
