TEACHER COMPETENCE AS AN INTEGRAL INDICATOR OF EDUCATION QUALITY

This article analyzes the role of teacher competence in ensuring the quality of
education from a pedagogical perspective. It provides a scientific justification for the
direct relationship between the quality of education in the modern educational system
and the level of development of teachers' professional, methodological, communicative,
digital, and reflective competencies. The study examines the functional relationship
between the competency-based approach, education quality indicators, and the effectiveness of teaching activities. Furthermore, a conceptual model of teacher
competence as an integral indicator of education quality has been developed. The findings
demonstrate that the systematic development of teacher competence contributes to
improving the effectiveness of the educational process, enhancing students' learning
outcomes, and increasing the overall quality indicators of educational institutions.
