DEVELOPING INDIVIDUAL LEARNING PATHWAYS THROUGH THE ANALYSIS OF STUDENT ACTIVITIES ON DIGITAL EDUCATIONAL PLATFORMS
Keywords:
digital educational platform, Learning Analytics, individualized learning pathway, digital trace, LMS, personalized learning, pedagogical diagnostics, adaptive learning.Abstract
The article examines the methodological mechanisms for analyzing student activity
data generated on digital educational platforms using the Learning Analytics approach, as
well as for designing individualized learning pathways. The research problem arises from
the limited capabilities of traditional educational processes to monitor students'
engagement, the quality of independent learning, assignment completion rates, and the
dynamics of professional competency development in real time. The aim of the article is
to substantiate a methodology for identifying students' individual learning needs,
selecting appropriate learning pathways, and subsequently readjusting them based on
data obtained from Learning Management Systems (LMS), electronic portfolios,
automated testing modules, forums, assignments, and digital assessment tools. The
methodological framework incorporates systems analysis, pedagogical diagnostics, digital
trace analysis, and competency-based and personalized learning approaches. As a result,
a model for developing individualized learning pathways is proposed, consisting of
diagnostic, adaptive, reflective, and predictive stages.
