PEDAGOGICAL FEATURES OF DEVELOPING STUDENTS' ECONOMIC COMPETENCIES IN AN INNOVATIVE EDUCATIONAL ENVIRONMENT

This article investigates the pedagogical and psychological characteristics and effective mechanisms for developing students' economic competencies within a modern innovative educational environment. In today's rapid globalization and digital economy, fostering economic thinking, financial literacy, and entrepreneurial skills in higher education students is considered one of the important pedagogical tasks. The article analyzes issues of ensuring students' economic stability through the use of advanced pedagogical technologies, case studies, interactive methods, and project-based learning opportunities. It also highlights the pedagogical conditions and innovative approaches that foster the ability of future specialists to independently and creatively apply economic knowledge in their professional activities. As a result of the conducted research, practical proposals and recommendations aimed at increasing the economic culture of students have been developed. The article is intended for educators in the higher education system, researchers, and specialists engaged in the methodology of economic education.
