METHODOLOGY FOR IMPROVING THE EFFECTIVENESS OF STUDENTS’ KNOWLEDGE ACQUISITION AND RETENTION BASED ON MICROLEARNING TECHNOLOGY

This article examines ways to improve the effectiveness of students’ knowledge
acquisition and retention through the use of microlearning technology in higher
education. The didactic potential of micro-content, short learning modules, micro-tests,
digital flashcards, repetition, and rapid feedback tools is analyzed. A methodological
approach aimed at ensuring the gradual acquisition of learning materials, reactivation of
previously acquired knowledge, and its application in practical situations is substantiated.
The article also highlights the pedagogical significance of integrating microlearning with traditional and digital forms of education, dividing educational content into logically complete micro-units, and regularly monitoring learning outcomes.
