Abstract

This article analyzes the pedagogical opportunities for using media education
technologies to develop thinking speed in primary school students. The purposeful use of
digital and multimedia tools in the modern educational process is considered an
important pedagogical condition for developing students’ abilities to rapidly perceive,
process, compare, and generalize information and draw independent conclusions. The
study examines the content of media education, its didactic potential in primary education,
its impact on students’ cognitive activity, and the mechanisms for developing thinking
speed. The research methodology proposes the use of pedagogical observation,
comparison, pedagogical experimentation, diagnostic tasks, and quantitative and
qualitative analysis of the results. The article substantiates that the use of media education
tools contributes to activating students’ attention, increasing the speed of information
processing, accelerating logical operations, and strengthening learning motivation. At the
same time, it emphasizes the need to consider students’ age and psychological
characteristics, regulate screen time, and integrate digital tools with traditional
pedagogical methods.
