THE STRUCTURE OF TEST ITEMS AND THEIR METHODOLOGICAL FEATURES IN ASSESSING THE KNOWLEDGE OF LEARNERS OF UZBEK AS A FOREIGN LANGUAGE

This article analyzes the structure and methodological features of test items used
to assess the knowledge of learners of Uzbek as a foreign language in accordance with
CEFR requirements. The study examines the structure of lexical and grammatical tests,
communicative tasks, and oral and written assessment tools in terms of validity,
reliability, and authenticity. Drawing on international language testing literature, the
article presents examples of different task types appropriate for B1 and B2 levels and
provides methodological recommendations for developing assessment criteria.
