Keywords:

This article analyzes the methodological potential of a system of tasks based on
linguistic levels for the effective acquisition of English language material. It highlights the
didactic significance of organizing exercises related to phonetic, lexical, morphological,
grammatical, and syntactic levels in an interconnected manner. Using a comparative-
analytical method, the study examines the content and complexity of the tasks, as well as their impact on students’ abilities to comprehend, analyze, transform, and apply language
material in communicative situations. The findings substantiate that organizing tasks
through the stages of recognizing linguistic units, analyzing, comparing, restructuring,
applying them in context, and producing independent speech contributes to the in-depth
and functional acquisition of English language material.
