Abstract

The article examines the interrelationship between digital storytelling and
reflective practice in developing professional self-awareness among prospective
educational psychologists. Based on a theoretical analysis of scholarly literature, the study
explains the roles of creating, discussing, and revising digital stories in making sense of
professional experience. Describing experiences, explaining the reasons behind decisions,
considering alternative interpretations, and identifying developmental goals are
distinguished as interconnected analytical dimensions. Reflective questions, meaningful
feedback, adapting tasks to students’ experiences, and opportunities for revision are
identified as important pedagogical conditions. Particular attention is paid to the
protection of personal data and the voluntary disclosure of personal experiences and
emotions. The article emphasizes the need for empirical research to examine the practical
effectiveness of the proposed theoretical approach.
