THE ROLE OF DIGITAL TECHNOLOGIES IN CREATING VISUAL SEMANTIC NETWORKS IN ELECTRONIC DICTIONARIES

This article provides a scholarly analysis of the role of digital technologies in representing word meanings through visual semantic networks in electronic explanatory dictionaries. The study focuses on the functional capabilities of graphical interfaces, interactive semantic networks, and artificial intelligence technologies in modern lexicography. Based on concrete examples and illustrative models, it demonstrates that visual semantic networks can significantly enhance users’ cognitive perception, comprehension of linguistic units, and memory retention. The article also examines the advantages of visual representation of lexicographic information and discusses promising directions for the development of digital lexicography.
