Abstract

This analytical article examines the current aspects of implementing RFID technology in vocational education institutions from the perspective of educational management. The study identifies existing management challenges related to the identification, inventory, and monitoring of educational and laboratory equipment, workshop tools and machinery, computer hardware, library collections, and other material and technical resources in technical colleges. RFID technology is substantiated not merely as a technical tool but as a digital management mechanism that creates the chain “resource – location – responsible person – usage status – monitoring – management decision.” The capabilities of RFID technology are linked to the regulatory objectives established within Uzbekistan’s vocational education system concerning digitalization, the development of electronic platforms, and the modernization of laboratories and workshops. Finally, the article proposes a system of indicators for RFID-based resource management and a mechanism for the phased implementation of the technology.
