Maqolada ingliz tili o‘qituvchilarining ijtimoiy-hissiy kompetensiyasini (SEL)
rivojlantirishga qaratilgan, muallif tomonidan ishlab chiqilgan besh sessiyali trening
modeli yoritilgan. Modelning har bir sessiyasi CASEL doirasiga tayangan beshta
kompetensiyadan biriga (o‘zini anglash, stressni boshqarish, o‘quvchi ehtiyojlarini
sezish, muloqot muhitini yaratish, etik qaror qabul qilish) bag‘ishlangan va o‘ziga xos
texnologiyalar bilan qo‘llab-quvvatlangan: «ichki ob-havo», kvadrat nafas olish, «to‘xta
va sez», «til tashvishi aysbergi», empatiya xaritasi, «Sen → Men» xabari, to‘rt burchak
dilemmasi va boshqalar. Modelning asosiy yangiligi trening mashqlarining ingliz tili
darsi kontekstiga bog‘langanligi, hamkasblar bilan mini-PLC formatidagi amaliy
mashqlar hamda 8 va 16 haftalik kuzatuv bosqichlari hisoblanadi. Model respublika
miqyosida o‘tkazilgan so‘rov (n = 1 898) natijalari bilan asoslangan. Maqolada baholash
vositalari (15 bandli so‘rovnoma, suhbat, kuzatuv rubrikasi, portfolio) ham keltirilgan.
