Abstract

This article examines the pedagogical effectiveness of a methodology for organizing

students’ independent learning activities in the Application Software Packages course
through the use of modern educational technologies, including Google Classroom and
MathCad. The study is based on the results of a three-stage pedagogical experiment
conducted during the 2022–2025 academic years. A total of 335 students from Nukus
State Pedagogical Institute, Chirchiq State Pedagogical University, and Navoi State
University participated in the experiment. Students’ independent learning performance
was evaluated using cognitive, practical, analytical, creative, and activity-based criteria.
The outcomes of the experimental and control groups were comparatively analyzed, and
the effectiveness of the proposed methodology was statistically validated using the chi-
square (χ²) test.
