A NEURODIDACTIC APPROACH TO DEVELOPING COLLABORATION COMPETENCE IN VOCATIONAL EDUCATION STUDENTS
Keywords:
neurodidactics, neurodidactic approach, collaboration competence, collaborative learning, social interaction, vocational education, neuromyths.Abstract
The article examines the neurodidactic approach as an interdisciplinary field
integrating advances in neuroscience, cognitive psychology, and pedagogy and explores
its potential for developing collaboration competence among students in the vocational
education system. The principles and theoretical foundations of neurodidactics, as well as
the psychological and neurobiological prerequisites for collaborative learning activities,
are discussed. A four-stage instructional design model is specified through the example of
developing collaboration competence. Particular attention is given to the problem of
neuromyths and the limitations of applying neuroscientific findings in education. The
authors conclude that the neurodidactic approach does not replace existing pedagogical
concepts but complements them with scientifically grounded insights into the
mechanisms of learning and social interaction.
