IMPROVING THE METHODOLOGY FOR DEVELOPING STUDENTS’ TECHNICAL THINKING BASED ON A COLLABORATIVE APPROACH

This article examines the pedagogical and methodological foundations of developing technical thinking among higher education students through a collaborative approach. The study explores the factors that foster engineering-design and technological thinking within the context of collective creativity, interactive cooperation, and problem-based learning. The structural components of technical thinking—spatial-logical, constructive-technical, and operational-activity-based—are systematized, and a methodology for their development through collaborative project work and inquiry-based learning is proposed and refined. Particular attention is given to the role of collaborative activities in promoting independent thinking, innovative approaches, and professional competencies among students. The findings contribute to improving the quality of technical education and enhancing the implementation of modern educational technologies.
