Abstract

This article analyzes the pedagogical potential of using digital technologies in modern higher education to shape students' social and moral behavior. The process of
digitalization has a significant impact on educational content, teacher–student
relationships, students' information literacy and culture of information use, as well as
forms of social interaction. From this perspective, it is important to consider digital
technologies not only as tools for knowledge transmission but also as pedagogical
instruments for developing individuals' social and moral qualities. The article addresses
the development of communication culture in digital environments, responsible use of
information, digital ethics, cooperation, tolerance, honesty, social responsibility, and
critical thinking. Furthermore, it discusses potential ethical issues arising from the use of
digital technologies and the role of educators in preventing them.
