Abstract

The article examines the problem of developing pedagogical mechanisms to foster
students' digital thinking in a digital educational environment. The objects of the study
include digital thinking, its role within the structure of digital competence, and
pedagogical approaches aimed at its development in the modern higher education system.
The study analyzes the structure of a methodological system designed to develop
students' critical thinking, algorithmic literacy, digital competence, and creative problem-
solving skills in a digital educational environment. In addition, the interrelationships
among different types of methodological systems are identified.
