FOREIGN EXPERIENCE IN DEVELOPING PROFESSIONALLY ORIENTED COMMUNICATIVE COMPETENCE IN FOREIGN LANGUAGE TEACHING

This article analyzes international experience in developing professionally oriented communicative competence in foreign language teaching. It examines the theoretical and practical significance of professionally oriented language education, communicative competence, ESP - English for Specific Purposes, CLIL - Content and Language Integrated Learning, task-based learning, and competence-based approaches. Based on foreign experience, the article discusses the preparation of students for professional communication in a foreign language, the acquisition of field-specific terminology, and the development of academic and professional speech skills. The study also substantiates that professionally oriented foreign language teaching in higher education is an important factor in training competitive specialists.
