PEDAGOGICAL AND PSYCHOLOGICAL FOUNDATIONS OF SPEECH DEVELOPMENT IN PRESCHOOL EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTIONS: A REVIEW OF SCIENTIFIC PERSPECTIVES

This review article examines the pedagogical and psychological foundations of speech development in preschool educational institutions based on contemporary and classical scientific research. It discusses age-related characteristics of speech development, psychological mechanisms of language acquisition, and pedagogical conditions that facilitate children's language growth. The theoretical views of L.S. Vygotsky, A.R. Luria, A.N. Leontiev, J. Piaget, J. Bruner, M. Montessori, and other scholars are comparatively analyzed. In addition, the article summarizes the contributions of Uzbek researchers to preschool speech development and highlights their significance for modern preschool education. The study is based on a comprehensive review of scientific literature and identifies both common and distinctive approaches to children's speech development.
