THE STRATEGIC IMPORTANCE OF DEVELOPING CYBERSECURITY CULTURE AMONG STUDENTS

The article analyses the pedagogical interpretation of the concepts of cyber hygiene and information security in the context of rapid digital transformation. These concepts are often treated as purely technical and technological categories, while their integration into the educational process and into the minds of learners remains methodologically understudied. The study substantiates the need to elevate cyber hygiene from the level of simple «digital etiquette» to a stable behavioural skill of the individual. The author develops the didactic structure of the concepts, a model of step-by-step formation, and methodological recommendations based on the competency-based approach. The results are intended for the formation of an information-security culture in institutions of general secondary and higher education.
