EDUCATIONAL ASPECTS OF INTERDISCIPLINARY INTEGRATION IN THE PROFESSIONAL TRAINING OF PEDAGOGY STUDENTS

The article provides a theoretical and methodological analysis of the educational
and character-building aspects of interdisciplinary integration in the professional training
of pedagogy students. A content analysis was conducted of the regulatory and legal
documents of the Republic of Uzbekistan concerning education, spiritual and moral
upbringing, and the status of teachers. Russian, Western, and domestic pedagogical
sources related to interdisciplinary connections and integration were also examined
comparatively. As a result of the study, the educational aspects of interdisciplinary
integration were classified into five dimensions (worldview, value-based and moral, civic
and social, communicative and collaborative, and professional and personal). Its dual
educational function was substantiated, encompassing both its direct influence on
students’ personal development and their preparation as future educators. The priority
areas, forms, and pedagogical conditions of integration within the content of pedagogical
education were identified, and a model of an integrative lesson was proposed.
