Abstract

This article investigates the challenges of horizontal scalability in traditional
Relational Database Management Systems (RDBMS) within Big Data environments and examines the effectiveness of NoSQL (Not Only SQL) databases as a solution to these challenges. The study analyzes various NoSQL architectural models, including Document-oriented, Key-Value, and Column-family databases, and proposes a new methodological framework for optimizing data read and write performance. Based on practical experiments, the effectiveness of data flow balancing algorithms has been demonstrated.
